A classic diner with an impressive veg / vegan menu. Staff is attentive, but not overbearing. Food was classic diner breakfast with lots of drip coffee refills available. It’s not fancy, but it is good. Will return.
Even if you're not in the neighbourhood - it's worth the drive to try out this fun little diner! The food and selection was exceptional, and delicious! Full vegan and vegetarian menus as well. Great atomosphere and we were served by the very friendly Charmaine! We will be back!
Gage Park Diner is a cute and local diner that has a ton of vegan and vegetarian options! We stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed everything. The prices are extremely fair and you can even play games while you wait for your food! My friends come here all the time and we had a great experience! Also, all of the menus are drawings from children and that’s just so cute! We will definitely be back!
Me and my wife thought we'd try this place out. I'll be honest, I was skeptical at first with the lack of a menu online and doesn't look like much from the outside. However, this place is great. Food is really good. I got a standard breakfast sausage and eggs with a side pancake (pancake wasn't the best). Wife got a vegan sandwich and vegan pancake with blueberries, pancake was so good wish I got the vegan version! Great amount of choice for vegans especially and good prices. Only complaint, for me, the potatoes could have been crispier. Well worth a visit for breakfast! Hope they update their website and maybe do abit more marketing to get the name out there because it's really great.
Finally got to try this cozy spot! Impressed by the many options (a whole seperate menu for veg/vegan options!) There were unique options on the menu like strawberry and sweet grass juice that we’d love to try next time! Service was warm and friendly Will be back!
I would give this place a million stars if I could. Incredibly kind and friendly staff. Food was excellent AND so gluten free friendly. Being celiac usually means I have to skip home fries and toast but not here! We had egg, bacon, toast, home fries and the breakfast BLT made gluten free. Highly recommend. If I’m ever back in Hamilton I will be going here!
Being vegan in Hamilton used to be tricky. But lately, more places have popped up. So glad there are so many vegan options for me here! Came here for breakfast and boy were my tastebuds super satisfied with the food I got! Thank you Gage Park Diner for having a vegan menu!
Atfer walking by this place everyday, I finally gave it a try this weekend. I was impressed by their menu, for such a small place, they have a ton of options! Vegan and vegetarian friendly. The service was also super nice! I will be back for sure.
